Some of you IRL anyway may know that I have cut and donated my hair in the past. I like long hair in theory only because it gets in my way and well I shed like a pug so it gets EVERYWHERE!! Once my hair grows long I decide to cut it but then want it longer and grow it back out - it's a horrible cycle but I do it constantly. Anyway this weekend I decided that once again it was time to chop it off for a good cause. I cut off the 8 inches that I had grown over the last year or so. I will be donating those 8 wonderful inches to
Pantene Beautiful Lengths - you should check them out! They take 6 ponytails of 8 inches and turn it into a wig that is then donated to a Cancer Society which then GIVES it to women who have lost their hair because of Cancer!
So I am 1/3 of the way to having donated an entire wig! I can't tell you how wonderful it feels to be helping out other women! So for the price of shipping I'll be giving the hair that got on my nerves to someone who will really appreciate it! If you've got 8 (or more) inches just hanging around maybe you should think about it to!! Here are my before and after shots:

Thanks! I like it a lot actually - I can still pull it back but it's short enough to no bug me. Nope I had my sister cut it for me - she did a pretty good job.
Gosh my forehead looks huge in that picture. I'd get some bangs but I know what I look like with them and it's not pretty. Guess I'll just stick with the big forehead! lol
Awesome!! I did that too last April. I was able to cut off 13 in. and it was fun and short. I am the same way with the vicious cycle too. I am in the process of growing it out yet again!
Yeah for you! What a great thing to do. I shed like a "pug" (lmao) too but my hair grows painfully slow.
My hair grows pretty fast which is good because otherwise all my shedding would surely lead to a big bald head! lol I probably wouldn't cut it this short if I wasn't donating it but It's hard for me to deal with it once it gets so long and I just have to cut it once it gets to that point. I don't know why I can't just keep it one length but I can't I'm either growing it or cutting it LOL>
My husband and my mom seem to like it so thats good.
