*Going to an ESE conference today*

Today the County we live in is hosting an ESE conference where I will hopefully learn something great that will help me with Zilla's future education. They are doing different presentations throughout the day in addition to complimentary breakfast and lunch. I enjoy going to these types of events (there were several held by different organizations last year) because you just never know what you'll walk away with. I also enjoy meeting with other special needs parents because having a good support system is vital. I hope your Saturday is a good one!

Almost missed six word Saturday but I managed it by almost 45 minutes! I meant to do it this morning but I had to take Zilla to meet his grandparents cause they are keeping him for the long weekend. They are really doing their best to stay in his life and be there for him unlike their spawn who has pretty much fallen off the Earth. Guess out of sight, out of mind applies to his kid - I'm not sure how he could possibly do that to Zilla but guess you just never know about some people.

Yep that's right I am finishing up my first week of this term and I have to say it looks like an awful lot of work and I'm just hoping that my brain is up for it!

Zilla Scored At The Yard Sales!

We went around to a few community sales today and Zilla totally scored! I swear it's just not fair how as moms our brains really only keep a look out for our kids stuff as opposed to our own. Anyway Zilla got 3 new Veggie Tales stories, a Thomas the Train book, some shorts and shirts, a cool compass, and some caution cone toys. MomZilla got a new water bottle and a book set. Yep he definitely scored but thats okay cause while we were out I stopped and indulged in the awesomeness that is Dunkin Donuts coffee so I'm all good. I really enjoy getting out to sales it's fun and you can sometimes find some really great stuff.

The Back of My Knee HURTS!!!

I never really knew before today that the back of your knee can hurt. I walked in the March Of Dimes Walk this morning with my Aunt's Publix Team. It was pretty awesome and I really did have a good time but well apparently I need to get my big booty in better shape because I'm sore especially the back of only one of my knees. Oh well it's worth it to help raise money and awareness for this very worthy cause! We walked so that those babies can crawl!!

Got to see the sweetness thats my new nephew today and let me just say he is freaking adorable! My uterus was going a little overboard with how cute he was and was just begging for another but I had to remind it that we are already parents to the terror that is Zilla and it shut up. He's so dang little - a measly 7 pounder - and YES I consider that small considering I was blessed with a 2 month old right out of the womb lol. Anyway he's cute will post pics soon. Deuces people!

I'm so dang excited that we have the internet here at Casa De Nanna!!! So sorry with being all silent and junk but well going to the library is super annoying and since they don't have a train table at our local B&N to keep Zilla occupied I can't go up there and play online. Anyway not a problem now.

Welcome to the World Baby Zane!!!

My super cute nephew was welcomed into this world last night. He was a tiny (well compared to Zilla anyway) 7lb 2oz and 19inches of cuteness!! I only have a txt picture as of now and it's a little blurry so I'm gonna hold off on showing his sweet face until I get better pics. I can't wait to meet him cause if he's even half as cute as his big brother and Zilla than the world will be in serious trouble. lol Good job to my beautiful SIL Amanda - she didn't have a long labor and managed to push that little watermelon out in three pushes - I wouldn't know from personal use but I'm pretty sure thats good! lol

Snow Doesn't Belong In The South!

Seriously I live down here for a reason people! I am a beach gal not so much a snow person. We didn't even have the gloves and boots for proper playing in said snow. I heard sirens all day long because people down here don't know how to drive in this weather. I guess I can handle one day out of my 27 odd years though! lol Zilla had fun and that's whats really important.

I have zero desire to move

I haven't even moved and I'm done with it already. Don't get me wrong I can't wait to get out of here and start new I just don't want to have to actually move to do it lol. It's so stressful and annoying and I seriously hate moving. My mom, brother and I moved around a bunch when I was little and i hated the entire process every single time. Not much can be done about it but that don't make it any more fun.
