Hurts Like a MoFo

Yeah okay it's been what like a week since I started this lip stuff and I have to say that it hurts like a big bad word. I was going to post a picture but well I'm lazy & in pain and don't feel like taking 15 pictures of my face to get one that works - maybe I'll try another day. Almost my entire bottom lip is one big fat blister and the part of my top lip that touches when I close my mouth is also blistered and I can't even talk about the corners without using a string of explicatives to describe how they feel. I'm pretty close to only being able to eat liquid food through a straw because it hurts to close and open my mouth let alone having any food actually touch it - shoot it hurts when air passes over it while I'm breathing. I still have another week and I am just SO excited (imagine with TONS of sarcasim here) to see how it looks and feels at that point.

Oh and cause it's just not enough to have a mouth that I don't want to take into public I am also coming down with a nice head cold - so pretty much everything above my shoulders hurts like heck right now.

Sunday Reads..Um on a Monday

Yeah Well here are my Sunday Reads. Sorry they are a little late but the hacking thing through me for a loop so anyway here they are.
Friend Boy  As if starting a new school away from her friends and family isn't enough, she has nuisance/captain of the football team Edward interested in her. “Hello, I’m Edward Cullen.” She took my hand, shaking it, “I’m not interested.” I really liked this story - it was such an interesting take on the characters. I loved the friendship that seems to constantly hover the line of friend and more. Bella is tough but yet still has normal insecurities and who wouldn't drool over football captain Edward. It's totally worth a read - lots of funny heart warming moments.

Stand in the Rain In the underworld Jasper is a man of all trades from assassinations to petty theft. He will do anything if the price is right-even transporting and protecting a young woman with a unusual ability. This is a Jasper/Alice story. I enjoyed reading it and really liked Jaspers rough personaility and seeing him relate to Alice.

Realize Edward is a hot up and coming actor and Bella is his ever faithful best friend and personal assistant. Bella's feeling for Edward have changed, but he is oblivious to her feelings. With the help of her friends, will she get the courage to tell him... This story was very cute but at the same time annoying because Edward and Bella spend a lot and I mean a lot of time figuring themselves out. I'm so not a jacob fan and don't like the whole jealous angle but this story really balances it out and doesn't make it a large part of the stoy - I apprecaited that.

Well there you go sorry they were late but this week has been rough. I'm missing my FanFic partner in crime - hopefully they have internet access upstairs so she can still enjoy all her fav stories!!

I was Hacked!

Yesterday I was hacked. I'm not sure if this should impress me that they managed to figure out my password or make me want to giggle because of what they chose to actually do when they hacked into my e-mail. The person who hacked my e-mail decided that they were going to get onto Yahoo IM and send my SIL an instant message saying that "i" was being held hostage in London I think and that I needed her to get me some money - I know dumb right? She of course was like WTF and told the person that I'd never been to London and why on earth when being held hostage I would go onto yahoo im to look for help. I agree with this I would think texting to save my life would be quicker lol. They did also manage to get into my facebook account as well (at least I think so) and do something to get my account disabled - I e-mailed them and hopefully they can fix it.

I mean really your gonna hack into my e-mail and then IM my family and mess around on facebook? Must me a bored teenager. Wish they would have left facebook alone and went after my myspace i don't ever go there. Oh well I Guess it was about time to change out passwords anyway. Life is always fun around here thats for sure.

Six Word Saturday

I have zero desire to move

I haven't even moved and I'm done with it already. Don't get me wrong I can't wait to get out of here and start new I just don't want to have to actually move to do it lol. It's so stressful and annoying and I seriously hate moving. My mom, brother and I moved around a bunch when I was little and i hated the entire process every single time. Not much can be done about it but that don't make it any more fun.

Well I've Got It

The last year and a half or so I've been dealing with what I thought (at least for a while) was a nice case of servere chapped lips. In the begining I assumed it was because I wasn't drinking enough water or maybe the weather or maybe the universe was being mean to me who knows. Anyway after a while I started to think that maybe it was something else because really who has really horrible chapped lips that flake, rip off, crack and bleed for months on end? Yeah well anyway about 5 months or so ago I went to a dermatologist (i'm pretty sure I blogged about the moles I had removed) and he kinda brushed off my lip concerns and told me to use aquafor - in case you don't know that's pretty much vasoline so thanks dickhead that was super helpful. Fastforward and my lip is still being all weird even with the awesome vasoline so I made an appt with a different chick. Went yesterday and found out I was right - dang couldn't guessed that was coming - and I have Actinic Cheilitis.
Actinic cheilitis, sometimes known as "farmer's lip" or "sailor's lip," is a precancerous condition related to cumulative lifetime sun exposure. The lower lip is most often affected. Individuals with actinic cheilitis often complain of persistent dryness and cracking of the lips. They will frequently exhibit other effects of sun-damaged skin, such as precancerous lesions on the skin called actinic keratoses and extensive wrinkling. A certain type of skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) develops in 6–10% of cases of actinic cheilitis.

So she gave me a script for fluorouracil which is pretty much a topical anti-cancer drug used to treat cancer and precancerous conditions. She advised me that I will HATE using it because it's pretty much going to make my lips look and feel like I ran over them with a cheese grater (she didn't use those words but she should have) for about two awesome weeks. She said I'm not going to want anything touching my lips and they will hurt after a couple days. I'm really hoping this works and my lips stop being all chapped and crap because it really is annoying. I am a little tiny bit worried because the packet that came with the cream (that would have by the way without my insurance been $207 - thats even the generic!!) said it can cause color pigmantation and my lips even look lighter today than yesterday so I'm hoping it's a fluke and I don't have white lips when this is over!!  I used the cream last night before bed and here is my lips on Day 1 - we shall see what they look like in a few days!

Where Oh Where Did You Go?

Thats the question of the day around our house. I can't seem to find Zilla's stupid Leapster and he is asking for it like every 5 minutes and he's driving me nuts. I've explained to him that HE is the one that lost it but for some reason he doesn't seem to understand that fact and instead insists that I must find it for him. I've looked all over this house and I just can't locate it. I haven't checked the cars because he shouldn't have taken it in the car but I guess tomorrow when it's light out I'll have to make sure it's not out there. Ugh why can't kids take care of their own things?

RIP Anna

RIP Anna

Wow I don't even have the words to express how saddened I was to find out that my fellow blogger and friend Anna passed away. Please Pray for her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife and a mother to four great kids. She was just one of those people that made you feel like you've known her for years even if you'd only just met. She was a fellow Twilight fan and frequent reader here at DT, S & P. I really enjoyed reading her blog and damn I'm just gonna miss her infectious personality. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason but it's certainly something like this that stumps me. I'm still just in shock and wishing that it is all some mistake. Those kids couldn't have had a better mom but I'm sure that now they have the perfect Angel to look over them forever.

Too Much Stuff

That's what I have at my house.

I've been trying to go through everything and put it one of the following categories: DZ's crap, Pack for storage, Pack for use at Nanna's house, go away, and stuff that I will need in the meantime before we more. In doing that I have come to the conclusion that we have way to much crap at my house. I have very nice sized boxes of yard sale stuff so hopefully the stupid weather will hook me up and I can have one soon. I also went through the massive amount of baby clothes that was saving for 'just in case' and since that's not in my immediate future I pulled out a ton to get rid of. I am keeping some because it's my goal to make myself a quilt out of some of the ones I liked. Zilla seriously had some crazy amounts of clothes someone under the age of 4 and more than I'd care to admit are Gymboree. I really think that Zilla's clothes are the most valuable thing we own - I'm not sure how I feel about that.

On a good note I made some good progress yesterday getting two boxes all packed up and did a crapton of sorting/cleaning in the garage. I was thinking about messing with the outdoor toys/stuff today but decided I don't feel like it. I am thinking I might take the boyzilla out somewhere to do something - we'll see he didn't take a nap so his attitude might not hold out.

Sunday Reads

Wow it's Sunday again I guess time flies when your having fun! Here are some new stories to keep you busy this week! Oh and they will ALL be complete because I've gotten where I can't stand to not know the endings -I wouldn't do that to you all!!

She's Royal The Cullens are in Hawaii on holiday, but only Alice knows the reason why they are there-she's had a premonition that Edward would finally meet his true love. But when their meeting is ruined by unforeseen circumstances, will Alice set things right again? This story was pretty cute and who doesn't love to read about a holiday getaway where you find someone who could change your life. I liked it although I wasn't 100% in love with the authors formatting but I got over it and enjoyed the story anyway.

The Shadow and the Womenizer Bella has been hurt and is hiding a secret. Edward and his vampire family have theirs of course. Can the Cullens help Bella come out of her shell and can Bella help Edward change his ways? This story was very interesting and I liked it quite a bit. Things are a little different as in the Vampires don't sparkle, they all live in California, and the Cullens aren't left alone they are quite social and make an effort to befriend Bella. It does contain some dark themes so if you only like things light and fluffy this isn't for you.

A Warm December Bella Swan heads off to college in Seattle, with her high school boyfriend, Mike Newton, in tow. Will Bella be able to resist the temptation that grows from her surprising friendship with Edward Cullen? This story cracked me up and I just love what she did with the characters. You'll enjoy it between all of the fights, drinking and smut! Enjoy

Six Word Saturday

I've got two today:

My son said 'croissant' correctly today!!

Zilla was "feeding" me some of his play food this morning and I was going over the names of each food and he actually said croissant correctly. I for one was pretty impressed because I know plenty of adults that can pronounce it properly. Just thought I'd share my kids brilliance!

OR:

Egg Beaters Don't Fill Me Up

Can I ask WHY don't a crapton of egg beaters make me feel full the same way regular eggs do? I mean seriously I could eat a whole container of egg beaters (not that I do eat that much I'm just sayin) and still feel hungry later but it's not the same with say two little old eggs. I think it's a rip off cause egg beaters are way more expensive than regular eggs and you don't even get to stay full. It's crap I tell you.

More Sunday Reads

Hopefully I'm not repeating any I've unloaded on you all before - I need to get them all organized somehow. Anyway here are a few that I read a while ago but was too selfish to share..lol.

Undercover Blue Officers Bella and Edward are assigned to go undercover together. Immediately there are sparks. Will they be able to keep their relationship professional while taking down the bad guys? I really liked this one and it didn't take too long to read since it's complete and pretty short.

My Mistakes Were Made For You Bella and Edward shared a passionate romance during spring break in Florida. Five years later Bella is a single mom living in New York. What happened? Will Bella and Edward ever find their way back to each other again? This wasn't too bad and apparently she put up a sequel but I haven't read it. A nice story about how miscommunication can really turn things around.

One for the Money Bella Swan is a quiet high school English teacher. Edward Cullen is a rich doctor. What happens when he unknowingly bids on her at Alice's bachelorette auction? This was really cute. I'm not a huge Tayna fan and this one really makes her out to be bad . Good read and it's complete!

Six Word Saturday

2010 is bringing change aka divorce

DZ asked for a divorce so Zilla and I will be moving back to the great Sunshine State soon. I am one of those people that truely believes that things happen for a reason and although I may not understand it now I'm not going to question it. Zilla and I will be just peachy and surrounded by family. DZ and I are on totally friendly terms and we plan to stay that way. Okay so...Not much else I want to say on the subject.

I can show you rude

I don't understand why phone solicitors are so stinking rude. I mean I know they are 'just doing thier jobs' but come on if I tell you that I'm busy and can't talk to you about whatever your freaking cause is then be nice and let me off the phone! Last night I got a call from some lady trying to get money out of me which is annoying but no biggie. I told her that I couldn't talk because I was busy and she proceeded to tell me that "since she's already got me on the phone" she'll just go one like I didn't say a word..um hello bitch I just told you I was busy. So instead of being rude to her I handed the phone to Zilla and let him regale her in the finer points of Thomas the Train! LMAO After a few minutes she hung up and I had to let Zilla call Nanna to get out his inner Chatty Cathy. I will have to do that again in the future it was pretty funny.

Some sage diet advice!

Okay my mom e-mailed me this like forever ago and I thought it was SO funny but it got piled in my inbox but I found it again and I want to share. I know I needed a laugh with my current migraine. Enjoy!!

Consultant - Doctor Woo

Q: Doctor, I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Heart only good for so many beats, and that it... Don't waste on exercise. Everything wear out eventually. Speed up heart not make live longer; that like say you can extend life of car by driving faster. Want live longer? Take nap.

Q: Should I cut down on meat and eat more fruits and vegetables?
A: You must grasp logistical efficiencies. What does cow eat? Hay and corn. What are these? Vegetables. So, steak nothing more than efficient mechanism of delivering vegetables to system. Need grain? Eat chicken. Beef also good source of field grass (green leafy vegetable). And pork chop can give 100% recommended daily allowance of vegetable products.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine. That means they take water out of fruity bit; get even more of goodness that way. Beer also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: If you have body and you have fat, ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise program?
A: Cannot think of single one, sorry. My philosophy: No Pain...Good!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU NOT LISTENING!!! .... Foods fried in vegetable oil. How getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Will sit-ups help prevent me from getting a little soft around the middle?
A: Definitely not! When you exercise muscle, it get bigger. You should only do sit-ups if want bigger stomach.

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: You crazy? HELLO ... Cocoa beans! Vegetable!!! Cocoa beans best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming good for figure, explain whales.

Q: Is getting in-shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is shape!

Well, I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may have had about food and diets.
AND.....
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies:

1. The Japanese eat very little fat
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4 The Italians drink a lot of red wine
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats
And suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION.....

Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

He looks so dang grownup!

Zilla's hair grows like a stinking chia pet and haircuts at our house are always an ordeal. The boy acts like they are trying to cut his ear off instead of just some hair. So instead of taking him to torture all the poor customers at the barber shop I decided to just cut it myself. I shaved it the other day and by golly my little boy looks so dang grown up!! He had a meltdown while I was doing it but it wasn't too bad. On a side note he also looks WAY more like my brothers son than I thought possible considering my brother and I barely pass as siblings!

Some New Reading

I've been reading some new fanfic stories and I thought I'd recommend you all some. So here they are:
Holding out for you After her divorce, Bella starts a new life with her son. She soon meets a handsome doctor, Edward, who is dealing with his own loss and is struggling to raise his two kids. I really liked the story and it's complete so if your rediculously impatient like me that helps!

Readjusted Bella is a single mom who is struggling to put her life back on track when she meets Edward. Edward is a hot shot corporate lawyer who has sworn off love and kids. What happens when the two meet at a club? I read this one a while back and thought it was pretty good. It's also complete - YAY!

Library Rendezvous Two strangers meet in a library and strike up a 'secret' friendship that eventually leads to love This is super cute and has kept my attention for a while. It's not totally complete yet but she's only got a couple chapters left I think and she updates regularly. Just a little bit of smut here so your warned.

My Love, My Life Bella moves to Seattle to get away from her ex and meets Edward. Can they make it work when his daughter and ex-wife are causing problems? This was very cute and is complete.

Hopefully you all enjoy those little reads - there might be one that Anna hasn't read! Oh and as a warning there is probably 'smut' in each and every one of those. What can I say I enjoy my literary porn. LMAO

Six Word Saturday!!

"Mama I ready to go school"

Those were the first words I got when Zilla woke up this morning. You see yesterday I told him that in order to go to Pre-K (aka school) this coming year he would need to be totally potty trained. I was hoping that would help him get with the program since he sees the school bus on our road every day and he is fascinated with it. Well apparently he was a little more excited about the school thing than I realized because he went on and on about going to school for like 30 minutes and that's like forever in 3 year old terms!

Welcome 2010

Well I have to say that I was/am super excited for 2010 to get started. I wasn't very fond of the crapstorm that was 2009 so I'm all about telling it to take a freaking hike! I didn't do much to celebrate the begining of 2010 but thats ok I'm just glad it's here. I hope your year (and mine) turns out to be spectacular!!

On a side note Zilla pooped in the potty!!! It's my mission to get him sqaured away ASAP.
