We made out like bandits!!!

We went to a couple yard sales this weekend and while we were looking for one we came acress a sale that had some Thomas stuff and of course we stopped because Zilla is a Thomas freak. I wasn't interested in the train table but they sold us all of the rest for $40! It was certainly A LOT of stuff but once we got home and laid it all out I just realized how great of a deal we actually got! We got a cranky, a fire house, a ski mountain, a train station, the mine shaft, a windmill, the roundhouse, and a TON of tracks and trains!!! Heres a pic of Zilla with all his new stuff!

Fun With Friends!

Zilla had such a blast when we went to Bama for a visit so I thought I'd share some pictures of that with you all! I really wish we lived closer to our friends or rather family really ;)

Movie Time #1

In the last couple weeks I've seen quite a few new (to me) movies and I'd thought I'd offer up some reviews in a little series. So here are two for today!

Elizabethtown - Starring Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst. It's a movie about a guy whos life is in shambles when his father passes away. On the way to take care of the details for his dads funeral he meets Kirsten Dunst's character who is just the girl to get him back on track in life.

I can only say that this movie is a huge FAIL!!! Seriously I kept asking myself why I was watching it while it was on but I just kept wanting something good to happen with that cast. I was completely dissappointed. Don't waste your time.

The Notebook - The story of Allie and Noah and their epic love. What great love doesn't face challanges?

I'm just gonna take a guess and say that I loved this just as much as every other girl on the planet. Who can't see the greatness that comes from a true pure love? I just loved Gena Rowlands she was so awesome. The ending is what I think we all want for ourselves - that kind of true love can't be overcome no matter what! Um see it if you haven't!

My Baby Growed Up!

Yep today Zilla started Pre-K and I have to report aht he had a great tiem and seems excited to go back tomorrow. There were no tears at drop off and I think thats both a good thing and a bad for a mom cause it's a little nice to know you'll be missed. Zilla was only concerned with playing with the toys in the room so he barely spared me a glance as I left. He made some friends that he can't remember their names but he said he had fun. It's only half days for now and so far so good. Here's some pictures of my sweet angel face at school:
Photobucket
He even carried in his own bag of stuff!

Here he is in Circle time with the other kids:

Oh below is what I found when I was pulling out of the school this morning:
Photobucket
In case you can't see it's a multitude of fire trucks, cops and EMS people because right in front of the school someone lost control I guess of their SUV and flipped it across several lanes of traffic - it looked pretty nasty and caused a huge traffic jam on the other side of the road.

Sunday Reads!

Ok it's Sunday again so here are a few things to keep you busy!

Beyond The Past - Jasper and Bella have been together since the beginning. She is like a daughter to him in the way that he feels connected and protective of her. On a fateful day he meets the woman of his dreams and she leads them to their future family. But as Bella and Jasper begin to find true love and their soul mates and evil from their past surfaces to destroy them and all they have build. (All Vampire) This was an interesting story because Bella is much older than Edward and comes into the story with Jasper. The entire Cullen Family is thrown into a whole ordeal when Jasper and Bella's past comes back to get them.

Answering Bell Edward gave up his dream when his family needed him and Bella is finding hers after heartbreak. Neither may be ready to start a relationship, but can the undeniable attraction be ignored? Should it? I loved this story - The chemistry between Edward and Bella is amazing and instant. They are intense and therefore end up making mistakes that force their hands but it's just a great story!

Ever have a day where you just need to get rid of stress? Yeah This week has been like that - I think I'm gonna be looking for a punching bag to invest in.

Sunday Reads on Tuesday

Yep I blew this off on Sunday because well I was busy playing with my munchkin and fretting over my school work. I'm not sure that anyone outside of Anna even ever read my FanFic suggestions but I'm gonna keep posting them anyway.

Immersion Immersion: interest in something that occupies all the time & energy available. Bella, the new girl/vamp at Forks HS, smells something wonderful. Edward, a sweet geek, smells something great too. What if vampires imprinted/mated according to scent? This is a pretty short story but I just love it and read it every so often. I love both Bella and Edwards thoughts when they are "catching the scent" in the beginning of the story! It's a really good read.

Guarding Edward A stalker is trying to get close to 24 y/o HUMAN Edward Masen, a concert pianist. He hires Elite Guardians to keep him safe and to find out who is hunting him. Bella Cullen is the owner/operator of the company AND she's a 110 y/o VAMPIRE. It's been awhile since I read this but I've recently run back across it and I'm pretty sure that she's done posting the 110 epilogue/side shots lol well she doesn't have quite that many but it's a lot! Bella is the Cullen here and she and the gang are all out to make sure Edward is safe.

Yours, Mine and Ours Bella is a single mom of 3 boys.Edward is a single dad of 3 girls.Bella & Edward fall in love but have to convince their kids that their relationship is real.Twists&turns await these two broken families as they journey from broken to whole. This is much like the movie with the same name but I like the kids in this story. There were some things I could have done without but overall it was an easy read and I liked it!

I give up

If you had asked me (or probably anyone that knows me IRL) if I was a quitter I'm pretty sure they would have told you a big resounding NO. Well we would have all been big fat liars apparently! I had to drop one of my classes which will put off my graduation until December. Those two classes were just going to be too much for me to be able to do well in both of them I'd rather only take one class than take two and possibly fail one. The class was Fund & Governmental Accounting and let me tell you that if anyone could make accounting any more boring and complicated it's the Government! I have taken more accounting and business classes than I can to remember but it was almost like I was reading another language! So needless to say with my other class being time consuming as well there was no way I'd be able to devote enough time to the Accounting class that I'd have to in order to understand it. Oh well I'm not happy about being a quitter but I'd be even more pissed if I failed it!  So there you have it I gave up on my class - I think next term I'm gonna take something that really interests me instead so it doesn't seem like work!

Roll Tide Roll

Zilla and I have made our way back up to the awesomeness that is our previous home aka Alabama! We had to come so that we could get Zilla's check-up so that he can get enrolled in school. It would have been super great to have avoided driving to another state in order to get a 15 minute appointment out of the way but Zilla's Dad said that the Army won't let him change our address and henceforth being able to get a doctor in our own time zone! Hopefully we can rectify that in the near future. As it is I'm ok with visiting Bama because my best friends live here and I'm really enjoying spending time with them and so is Zilla. So anyway I'm off to get back to my fun trip! Deuces!

Looking Forward to My LONG Trip

Or well I guess I am sorta but not really! I gotta go back up to Bama Monday because my soon to be ex hasn't been able to transfer Zilla's records so in order for him to get his 4 year shots and the school check up we gotta go up there. Totally not wanting to drive especially for that dumb reason but I am certainly looking forward to seeing my friends. I miss them so I'm glad that we are gonna get to see them for a few days! Okay thats all I got today so have a good weekend!!

Celebrating Life

My grandmother passed away last month rather unexpectedly and it was a hard time for everyone in my family because she really was someone who gave all of us a place to gather and she was supportive of all of us no matter what. She was pretty much healthy until one day she just had a stroke and the doctors assured us that she was doing well (talking and remembering all of us) and that she would be better in no time. Well doctors, like anyone, were wrong and just days later we were all told that she went in a coma and wasn't expected to wake up so she'd be transferred to Hospice but she never made it that far and she passed away just hours later. Well thats the sad part but my grandmother wouldn't have wanted anyone to be sad and mourn her so after her funeral service family and friends were invited back to the house to celebrate her life. As you can see Zilla took that to heart and Grandma would have LOVED it! They were playing in the dirt and climbing around the cars all having a blast!
Photobucket Photobucket  Photobucket

We will all miss Grandma but I don't think I could ask for a better Angel to watch over our family!

Bribery Gets a BIG Thumbs Up

Yep you read that right I'm all good with the bribery that's currently going in in front of me involving my son. Now normally that wouldn't be something I'd condone or be okay with but at the moment it's getting my extremely picky eater to eat his food! Mena is at this very moment bartering a piece of chicken (not in the nugget form!!!) for clicking on the Thomas Collapsing Suspension Bridge and a bite of mashed potatoes for Thomas books!

You see Zilla is OBSESSED with this train website - I mean he literally assaults his Mena with "we look at Thomas stuff" as soon as she walks in the door each night. Now if you haven't visited TrainsGalore and your kid loves Thomas the Train then WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?!?!?! They have just about anything Thomas that your kid could possibly want and the prices look reasonable! I mean obviously the site rocks if it can get my kid to actually eat!!!

Fun in the Sun

Thought I'd share some pictures from Zilla having some serious fun in the sun!

Awhile ago we had a party for my littlest brother before he headed off to be a Soldier so here are a couple pictures of Zilla and his Uncle Brandon playing in the pool:

Birthday Fun

July 12th was Zilla's 4th Birthday so we decided to celebrate it by going to SeaWorld. We had an awesome time and I really liked being able to have the whole day to spend with my baby. He loved the penguins the sharks but wasn't a big fan of the Shamu show (not a surprise because honestly it's always been a bit boring and now that they can't swim with them it's even worse) but overall it was a fun day. While we were watching the Clyde and Seamore Show (a sea lion slapstick show) we were sitting down towards the "wet zone" and the sky just let loose with some rain! Zilla loved the rain because he could 'splish, splash, splosh' in it now that everyone else moved to get under cover! He was splashing in this one puddle that seriously went up to his calf! That was probably his favorite thing he did. They have a kid friendly rollar coaster that we rode and Zilla seriously LOVED it and was really upset when we didn't keep riding it but MomZilla just refused to wait in a 45 minute line for a 3 minute ride! He had so much fun that the next morning when he woke up he asked "we go look at the fish again?" he cracks me up. We had fun so here's some pictures for you:

Inconsiderate People

I don't understand how people can be so inconsiderate while talking to others! Why can't people realize that their words and what they imply when they are talking to others effects the people they are talking to? I mean you can't just go around spouting off total crap without expecting that it might upset them and then say oh I don't want to fight with you...ugh!! I guess I must be in the minority because I actually try and think about what I'm saying before it comes out of my mouth. I was so upset by the thoughtless words that I was shaking! Talked to my littlest bro and he managed to make me feel a little better though - Thanks Bran!!

Here's a quote I found that totally expresses my mood:
“Stress: The confusion created when one's mind overrides the body's basic desire to choke the living daylights out of some jerk who desperately deserves it”

Too often we underestimate quote Pictures, Images and Photos

Sunday Reads

Wow it's been a while since I've posted any reads. I haven't stopped reading just because I stopped posting so here are some for you:

The Next Door Neighbors Bella and Edward were high school sweethearts. They separated for college, going off in different directions…both agreeing to see other people. Now they are thrown back together 5 years later…as neighbors. Both are happily married to other people…or are they really? Can these two former lovers resist temptation and each other? Probably not…and is Edward still the same Edward that Bella remembers? Probably not.  This story was a perfect mix of crazy and awesome! I personally DO NOT condone cheating on your spouse and shame on Edward and Bella for even thinking about it but on the same breath sometimes your not meant to be with who you end up with so good for them for doing something to change that.

His Personal Assistant Bella Swan, personal assistant to handsome, rich, successful Edward Cullen, decides to take her friends advice and make her oblivious boss fall in love with her. This story was GREAT! I loved it and the characters are just too good. I couldn't love this Emmett, Jasper or Esme any more than I do. There was some angst that I could have lived without but overall it was a super story and really who wouldn't want to be stuck somewhere with Edward?

Thats it only two today but since they are both good and finished that should be enough! Oh those obviously contain Mature themes and should only be read by the over 18 crowd!

Baby Showers are Raining Down Today

I've gotta go to my Step-Brothers (well his girlfriends) baby shower this evening. Why you ask is it being held at night instead of the 'normal' morning/mid-day shower? It's being held this evening because pretty much it's more of a party than a shower lol. They are roasting a pig and having a keg! So I'm guessing it's gonna either be a great time or a big PITA lol. While I'm hanging with the drunks Mena (in case anyone is still reading an cares we changed Nannas name because Zilla refuses to call her anything but Mena) is taking Zilla to a birthday party where they are gonna have a huge waterslide! I'm thinking the little monkey is gonna have more fun than me!

Family Trip

Yesterday Zilla and I along with Mena and my Aunt started our fun journey up to Atlanta, GA for a family reunion of sorts. I had to wake up at 5:30am and once we finally left and started out for the almost 8 hour trip I was in much need of coffee. After we stopped off at Dunkin Donuts, cause everyone runs on Dunkin, we played a word game while Zilla watched a movie and played his leapster. I just have to say that my family is just crazy because the words we were coming up with were just nuts. We finally made it up here in the evening and got settled in. I managed to get some school work done since this is my finals week. Today we went around to some yard sales and goodwill where I found an almost brand new Thomas the Train lamp for only $3.50!!!!! Zilla occupied himself for half of the day with Thomas videos on uTube that were linked from his favorite website trainsgalore.com - he can even tell you the name of the site! We had a good time this morning and I'll post again tomorrow with more adventures from the greater Atlanta area. Nighty Night Night!

New Layout for my New Mood

I liked my previous blog layout made by The Cutest Blog on the Block but they said something about it expiring this week so I needed to go search for a new free blog layout and I found Dotty Dot Dot. She's got lots of pretty blog layouts but I wasn't really interested in a "pretty" one I needed something a little darker for my darker mood lately. This whole divorce thing is really kicking my butt. Don't get me wrong I have ZERO ideas of "fixing" my marriage because it's totally over and I'm more than cool with that but just the whole divorce thing sucks. Divorce means lots of headaches and money spent that I'd just rather not deal with. I finally found myself a lawyer I think I'll like - I'm meeting her on Monday lets hope we mesh and she won't be charging me my next born child - or well maybe that would be good since I probably won't be having any more LOL. It's just really a PITA but not much I can do about it since my soon to be ex has found "the one" and would like to get rid of "not the one" aka me haha. Wow this is coming out like I'm bitter but I'm not I swear I'm just not looking forward to all the things I didn't want for myself aka being a single mom and the majority parent (baby daddy is military so thats the nature of the beast). I just never wanted that (I know, I know who does but still) for myself or my BabyZilla. It doesn't help my mood that finding a job in this economy SUCKS. Here's hoping the second half of 2010 is better than the first.

Classes and Update on the Crazies

First the update on my call regarding the crazy pavilion stealing lady: I called and was first told that "they don't really offer refunds unless it rains out" , "well we can give you a pavilion for another day if you want" and "well you did have your party" as well as "the people you talked to didn't have the authority to offer you a refund"- I didn't think I could get any more ticked off about the situation but I was wrong. After explaining that I didn't get what I paid for she finally said that I "should" get a refund but it will more than likely take two weeks or more! Yeah I'm calling again on Friday and then next week I'll be going down for my refund in cash and they better be super apologetic. Oh and the lady also said that through all of that ordeal on Saturday apparently no one got the crazy lady's name so they don't know who she even is!!! So if your in the Central Florida area - DO NOT deal with Sanford Parks and Recreation because they are MORONS!!!!!!

Okay on to other crap before I get my blood boiling again. I'm almost done with my degree (again lol) only two more classes and then I'll be the super proud owner of two shiny boring business degrees!!! I'm currently taking two super exciting *I don't know if you can read the sarcasm in that but it's there* accounting classes and I found out that my last two don't have to be accounting or business related so I'm flying high on that news!! More than likely one will be boring accounting but I'm looking for something else that actually interests me and instead I'm finding that there are A LOT of odd classes offered that I wouldn't ever think about like: Strategies for Success in College (um it's called do the work and pay tuition!), Chemistry (how do you take science classes like that online?), Organized Crime (does it teach how to spot them or how to start them?), and E-Marketing (I guess it makes sense but I just never thought a whole class would be dedicated to it). I also never realized how many History and Religion classes their were. I have narrowed it down to a few: Fund and Government Accounting (I know its gonna be boring but I wanna work for the Govt so it will be ok), Personal Financial Planning (I'm not sure if I've actually already taken this though so I'll have to check that) and Digital Imaging (I would have to buy photoshop for it though and thats crazy expensive so we'll see. Everything else just seemed boring or I would need pre-reqs that I don't have. I'll need to decide soon though so I can order my book in time for the class to start. I can't wait to be done with school  because my brain is done with being a student! Ok thats ok for tonight peeps. Deuces

Crazy Ghetto Pavilion Stealing People

****CONTAINS FOUL LANGUAGE CAUSE THIS POST NEEDS IT*****
Yesterday was the day that we celebrated Zilla's 4th Birthday by having a great party at the park/splash pad. Or well at least that was the plan. I decided in June that Zilla would totally dig having his party at the splash pad (which he did) so I called and rented (and paid for) a pavilion then told everyone and started planning this super awesome day - that never actually happened because the Universe apparently decided to mess with me this week. I'll start at the beginning - Friday I was gonna make the cake and cupcakes but that ended up being a mess in which I will never work with Fondant again and I'm not 100% sure I'll make any more cakes ever again. I went to bed kinda hoping that it would rain and the party would be cancelled - it was just a crappy day that apparently decided to continue on to Sat. So Saturday I left at 12pm (the party was for 2) to go get my 10 balloons blown up an hour later - yep Party City was just hopping - we got some Chick-Fil-A and went to pick up the cake and head over to the park. I got to the park a few minutes early and found people in my pavilion so I informed them very politely that I had rented it, thinking that they just made a mistake cause it happens, but I didn't get a polite response back. The lady at MY pavilion rudely told me "No this is my pavilion and I'm not moving" - so I'm standing there with Zilla and a ton of balloons with some hijacker in my pavilion I was really ticked off cause she was being a bitch to me and I was already in a bad mood. The park people got involved telling her I was on the paper and she told them "You double booked it because I paid for it two weeks ago so that's your problem not mine" - that was her anthem. They eventually (at about 2:40)  told her they had no paper work on her so then she offered me two of the tables - how nice right since I rented the whole thing! The park guy was really trying to get it all figured out for us but this lady was just crazy because she kept insisting that she had rented it and wasn't going to ruin her son's birthday party – apparently MY son's party meant nothing. They moved us to a pavilion that opened up and we got everything unloaded and set up even though by this point the whole party atmosphere was completely ruined because it wasn't just me that was ticked off it was my whole family – the only one that didn't have a clue was Zilla! She actually had the nerve to say “Oh so you were supposed to be somewhere else” when they moved us! I wanted to punch her in her stupid face but I didn't cause there were kids present. The City Parks Superintendent showed up and apparently decided that it would just be better to let the lady have her way than calling the cops (cause trust me she wasn't gonna leave on her own). The pavilion that they moved us to had people coming at 4pm (my party was booked until 5pm) so when they got there at 4:30 we packed up and all the while the whore who stole my damn pavilion continued on with her party. It turns out she rented the pavilion but for another day NOT the 17th and just 'made a mistake' – did I get an apology from her? Hell no I didn't the only person that apologized was the Parks Manager! I will be getting a refund but in my opinion that's the least they should have done for me considering my party ended up going from 3 hours to barely over one. I know it's not the parks fault some crazy bitch came that day and Zilla had a great time and I know that's whats important but she still ruined my guests and my day. I know that mistakes happen and I probably would have been semi understanding if she hadn't been a total and utter bitch the whole time.
That was the condensed tale (trust me there was more) of the crazy ass lady that managed to jack up my babies birthday party! I'll post pictures when I get them loaded.

Day at the park!

Wow Zilla sure knows how to make everyone smile when he wants to! I took him to the park so that he could "dig in the dirt" and he had a blast!! He was running around talking to just anyone, I swear that kids never met a stranger, and he was inviting everyone to play. He even shared with a little boy - without even being asked!! He also has a cute little habit of introducing himself (quite formally) to everyone as well - he says "hello my name is zilla" and then usually asks them to come play. Anyway he was running around with one little girl in particular and he ran over to me with her and said (to me) "hi my name is zilla...this is um..." cause he didn't know her name so I told him to ask and when she said her name he then proceeded to introduce her to me and they ran off. The little's girl mom was sitting close and she was just laughing like crazy and couldn't believe how cute he was being. He even introduces himself to the characters on tv if they say their name! He was loving all the interaction so I'm hoping that this will bode well for daycare and then soon after pre-school since that will be coming up soon.

Wow he's so modest...

Or not! I was sitting with Zilla on the couch all cuddled up watching Toy Story 2 - just a wonderful little Kodak moment. The moment however was totally stolen from me when Zilla turned his cute little innocent face to me and said "Mama I'm so smart" - he is SO modest I swear haha. I mean not that I'm saying I don't agree with him cause well he is pretty darn smart but um all I could think was geez conceded much? lol not that I said that I just told him yep that's what I thought to and we went on with our Kodak moment. I guess this is better than him selling himself short but still.

He's also started picking up a few phrases that I hope he keeps in the house only like: "Bust Off" and "Get Outta My Face"  - I just don't think that his teachers or peers would appreciate them haha.

Sunday Reads

Well who knows if anyone even reads this post but for anyone who does here are some worth reading:

Ready Made Family After meeting twin bronze haired little boys Bella is forced to come to terms with her past. Can she accept & forgive her past & see what's in front of her to seal her fate. . . This story was really cute - I just loved the twins they were just too darn adorable! I enjoyed it but wasn't super impressed with the last few chapters it just seemed like maybe she wanted to just kind of wrap it up but over all it's worth reading.

Second Chance Bella's unhappy with her life of the last 6yrs. Can she find the happiness she craves after leaving it all behind her? Bella decides after getting out of a lacking relationship to have a nice nite with a gorgeous stranger only to see him again. They both have pasts that come back to bite them and have to work through them in order to be happy. This will totally appeal to anyone who has a crazy ex - and who doesn't? lol

Intersection  Bella Swan wants a fresh start in a new town, and a chance encounter with Edward Cullen turns into something meaningful when their lives begin to intersect. Will a past connection and inexplicable bond be enough to heal the wounds that both are hiding? This story has tons of twists and turns but certainly has a HEA. Fate has brought them back together after a long time to help heal each other. Real cute story.

Zilla Scored At The Yard Sales!

We went around to a few community sales today and Zilla totally scored! I swear it's just not fair how as moms our brains really only keep a look out for our kids stuff as opposed to our own. Anyway Zilla got 3 new Veggie Tales stories, a Thomas the Train book, some shorts and shirts, a cool compass, and some caution cone toys. MomZilla got a new water bottle and a book set. Yep he definitely scored but thats okay cause while we were out I stopped and indulged in the awesomeness that is Dunkin Donuts coffee so I'm all good. I really enjoy getting out to sales it's fun and you can sometimes find some really great stuff.

For The Love of Veggies

Zilla has developed a new found love of all things Veggie Tales!! I've tried introducing him to the lovely land of Bob and Larry but he never really took to it so I gave up. Just goes to show me that kids only get interested in stuff when you give up on the idea! Anyway he now LOVES him some talking veggies - only the talking kind though he's still not into the edible ones. LOL He calls it "Big Idea" - thats the company that produces the shows - and now sings the songs constantly! His favorite is the opening song but he does still enjoy the hairbrush song, the busy song and the where is my stapler song. I don't really mind watching these over and over though because they are sending out good messages that are hopefully seeping into his brain and taking root - I gotta home right? He cracks me up singing all of these. I need to get him on video belting out the tunes - when I get it I'll be sure to post so that you can all enjoy it as well.

Being Sick Sucks

My poor angel recently was faced with a nice case of Croup. He woke up about 3am and just couldn't seem to catch his breath and was crying up a storm. After I got him calmed down slightly I could tell that he wasn't breathing right so I decided that it was time to visit our local ER. We actually go into the back fairly quickly and they diagnosed him with Croup. In case your little one's haven't had it (lucky you) or you just don't know what it is: Croup is a condition that causes an inflammation of the upper airways — the voice box (larynx) and windpipe (trachea). It often leads to a barking cough or hoarseness, especially when a child cries. It's caused by a virus and normally starts out with normal cold symptoms and reaches it's peak at night.

Anyway Zilla received a breathing treatment (that was seriously lots of fun = typed with as much sarcasm as I can muster) and a steroid shot to help open up his airways. He got to take some lovely meds and we got to use the humidifier which seemed to help at night. I felt so bad for him cause he just was so miserable. I have to say that even though I knew in my head that he wasn't really in any danger seeing your child gasping for breath is something that literally makes your heart hurt and scares you half to death - not pretty. Anyway he's all better now thank goodness.

Sunday Reads

Here are a few new Reads for you all to enjoy!

Two Stepping Bella is a reporter sent to interview Jasper, a champion horse trainer. She meets Edward who is a horse breeder and a British Duke. Sparks fly. I really enjoyed this story! I just loved this version of Edward cause I mean who can resist a hot British accent? Add in royalty and an unyielding love and you get this great story of love and mistakes that need to be overcome.

Long, Tall, Texan Bella is going to grad school in Texas and her friends decide to join her. Little do they know that she has an agenda of her own. This is a Bella/Jasper Story and although I'm normally more of a canon couple reader I truly liked the way this story was written. Bella meets Jasper and there are instant sparks. The couple must overcome Jasper's twisted past only to find themselves in a crazy situation where they have to fight to save themselves. It's chalk full of twists and turns.

His Personal Assistant Bella Swan, personal assistant to handsome, rich, successful Edward Cullen, decides to take her friends advice and make her oblivious boss fall in love with her. This story just cracked me up with all of the craziness that Bella does to get Edward to see the very clear signals she's sending. Edward is busy trying to keep himself away from Bella. This story just goes to show you that love could be right under your nose without ever knowing it. There is LOTS of interference of the good and bad variety that they have to overcome. I love Emmett and Jasper in this story - they are so willing to throw their brother under the bus simply for their own entertainment. Totally worth a read.

Six Word Saturday

The Back of My Knee HURTS!!!

I never really knew before today that the back of your knee can hurt. I walked in the March Of Dimes Walk this morning with my Aunt's Publix Team. It was pretty awesome and I really did have a good time but well apparently I need to get my big booty in better shape because I'm sore especially the back of only one of my knees. Oh well it's worth it to help raise money and awareness for this very worthy cause! We walked so that those babies can crawl!!

Sunday Morning Reads

It's Sunday again and well here are some stories for you all to enjoy!

Passing By - It was written law in Revolutionary France, "Should a man be convicted of a crime and sentenced to hang, he may be saved by a virtuous maiden who agrees to marry him."  This story was interesting. Set in 1852 Bella is walking in the town square and decides to save Edward the only way she can. The two of them are in this journey of trying to live together and get along but somewhere along the way could they actually begin to feel something?

The Next Door Neighbors - B&E were high school sweethearts.Separated for college.5yrs later they are neighbors and both married to other people. Can they stay away from each other? I really liked this story because who couldn't sympathize with finding your one true love later in life and wanting things to be different so that they can be better.

Okay that's all for today peeps because I still need to love up on my new family member before we have to head home. So deuces!!

Six Word Saturday

Babies are too cute for words!!!

Got to see the sweetness thats my new nephew today and let me just say he is freaking adorable! My uterus was going a little overboard with how cute he was and was just begging for another but I had to remind it that we are already parents to the terror that is Zilla and it shut up. He's so dang little - a measly 7 pounder - and YES I consider that small considering I was blessed with a 2 month old right out of the womb lol. Anyway he's cute will post pics soon. Deuces people!

Beautiful Baby

Zilla got the chance to look at some pictures on my phone of his new little cousin and his reaction was SO darn cute. When I showed him he said "oh look at the beautiful baby" and then he brought the phone really close to his face and whispered "once upon a time there was a beautiful baby"!!!!!!!!! I almost peed my pants when I heard that. I can't wait until we go and see the newest member of our family! Okay that's all for today peeps!

Sunday Reads!!

I'm not even sure if anyone ever even reads this post or the stories I include in them. Hmm I guess I'd like to know if anyone actually does - not that it would stop me from posting them but it would be nice to know. Either way I'll keep posting them (mainly for Anna - I'm sure they have internet upstairs).  These are all somewhat rated M but the I Love College story is certainly not for the faint of heart I mean come on it does have 'college' students and how many of them are straight arrows? Enjoy

In My Place - When Bella meets Edward,he is instantly hers...but not fully. Edward is already taken but it doesn't keep him from his desire to keep Bella for himself. All is revealed and their love is damaged, but he fights to get it back.  It's been awhile since I've read this but I do remember that it was filled with all kinds of drama and kinda makes Edward a real big jerk - well at least in the beginning. Gotta love it when guys (or girls even) try to do things that they think are the "right" things to do but as it turns out wow what a surprise they really didn't know anything at all!! He hurts Bella but then he really does try to make it up to her. Finding your true love when your already attached really sucks.

I Love College -  Edward is a rich frat boy, used to getting anything or anyone he wants. Bella is a witty tease, rooming with Alice, Rosalie and Gabe. Bella proves to be the ultimate challenge. This story was SOOOO funny. Edward thinks that the world revolves around his pretty little head until he runs into Bella who makes it her mission to show him that it doesn't and to make his world revolve around her!

Two Stepping - Bella is a reporter sent to interview Jasper, a champion horse trainer. She meets Edward who is a horse breeder and a British Duke. Can Edward get over his aversion to the press to give her a chance? Can Bella learn to trust in him when things get crazy? Throw in a crazy Alice, Emmett and a snotty Royal Rose and lots of fun ensues! This story was just great. I really wish she'd do a sequel because the characters were just wonderful. Gotta love the image of an Edward with a nice British accent and a nice big estate in England!

Double Six Word Saturday!!

It's a double feature today to make up for my internet blackout!!

YES We Do Have The Internet!!!!

I'm so dang excited that we have the internet here at Casa De Nanna!!! So sorry with being all silent and junk but well going to the library is super annoying and since they don't have a train table at our local B&N to keep Zilla occupied I can't go up there and play online. Anyway not a problem now.

Welcome to the World Baby Zane!!!

My super cute nephew was welcomed into this world last night. He was a tiny (well compared to Zilla anyway) 7lb 2oz and 19inches of cuteness!! I only have a txt picture as of now and it's a little blurry so I'm gonna hold off on showing his sweet face until I get better pics. I can't wait to meet him cause if he's even half as cute as his big brother and Zilla than the world will be in serious trouble. lol Good job to my beautiful SIL Amanda - she didn't have a long labor and managed to push that little watermelon out in three pushes - I wouldn't know from personal use but I'm pretty sure thats good! lol

Sorry bout that

Okay sorry bout missing 6WS and my Sunday Reads - we was moving so my excuse this time is legit..lol. I'd love to make up the Sunday reads to you but well I'm not on my puter. See my mom is behind in the times (sorry Mena but you are) and doesn't have the internet yet - don't worry we will be fixing that ASAP cause Momzilla NEEDS the internet. Anyway a lovely friend of hers from work knew that I would just cry without my internet so he so nicely lent her his Sprint internet card thingy so thats what I'm using now but since one can only be nice so much he's gotta take it back so I'm using my mom's laptop and none of my links are on here. Hopefully that won't be a problem by next week!
I'm still unpacking - yeah I know we have a lot of crap but I'm gonna be going through it and when DZ takes the boy next weekend I'm gonna have a yard sale and get rid of some of it. I also need to go and get my E-Pass (for those of you fortunate enough not to live down here thats the thing that allows me to go through the tolls without having to stop every 100 feet to fish out quarters) fixed because my card on file expired so gotta fix it so it can get my of my money, need to get my new bank account all set up, and I need to get my DL taken care of cause it expires too - fun times people. So hopefully I'll be able to get it all taken care of quickly and without problems. Alright deuces people!

Welcome to the Sunshine State!!

Okay well we made it down to the wonderful Sunshine State and luckily for us it was indeed sunny and a very nice day out. DZ drove the UHaul while pulling my SUV and Zilla & I rode down in his new truck. The drive wasn't too bad just as boring as ever - thats a LONG time to be in the car for anyone but especially for a 3 year old. Saturday morning he wasn't actually feeling that well which didn't help. He woke up about 5am and came into my room and snuggled up with me and fell back asleep - that should have been my first clue that something was up cause that boy NEVER falls back asleep. Then when we met up with our friends for a 'goodbye' breakfast he said his tummy hurt and laid down on the bench and went to sleep! The first part of the drive he was pretty quiet and then he was just plain aggravated about being in the car. So anyway we made it down to Mena's house unpacked there and went to the storage unit where my dad and step mom met us to unload there. It was uneventful and I have plenty of room left over in the unit for when I find the "new" stuff I want to start over with.

The last two days have been eventful - moving and then last night Mena's pipes had a blockage so we had to call a drain guy to come flush out the pipes leading out to the road. Today I've been unpacking and rearranging things to make Zilla and I fit. Not bad so far but I do have plenty of motivation to find a job and get my own place! Ok laters!

Today is the Day

This week has been insane - today is moving day. Hopefully Nanna has the internet already up and if not then that will be a priority this week so that I can fully update but right now I need to bust a move, So deuces people!

Selling Stuff and Derma Doc

So happy about yesterday it was just awesome. I've been posting stuff on craigslist for the last two weeks to try and get some things gone before the big move since we've had crap weather so I couldn't do a yard sale. I can't just donate the stuff I had set aside for my yard sale mainly because well even if I only made $20 well thats $20 I didn't have before and especially now I can't afford to lose out on any money so I've been putting the bigger stuff on craigslist and will just pack up the rest to take it down to the sunshine state and sell it there. Anyway the reason yesterday was awesome was because I managed to sell 3 pretty big items that I had listed and then I sold a bunch of Zilla's old clothes the day before. Not even a fraction of what I paid out for the stuff but can't complain too much. Still have WAY to much stuff I don't actually want to pack and move but oh well maybe it'll sell better down there anyway!

Going back to the dermatologist this morning to have her look at my lip to see if that crap helped any. I will have to update you once I get back or maybe tomorrow who knows.  Here are the shots of it so far: -try not to look up my nose kay? thanks

Two days in I think

Photobucket

One week mark - hurting but not that bad

Photobucket

Two Weeks and two days - the end of the meds - yes thats the HUGE blister on my lips - very very painful

Photobucket

Four week mark - no more blister (Thank the Lord) but it's all cracked, bleeding and scabbing still and it itches like no ones business!! Healing hurts people!!

Dr. Zilla to the ER please!!!

Zilla got this lovely doctor kit from his awesome Aunt and Uncle and he LOVES it. He thinks the 'shot' is SO cool and would take off the little wrist 'bandaide' for like 2 hours! The blood pressure cuff won't fit around a child size arm (not sure why that is but whatever) so he's been using me for that but at least it doesn't actually strangle your poor arm like the real thing so it's not so bad.

Sunday Reads & V-Day

I know it's V-Day and all that but well the day just loses it's appeal when the person that "should" be showing their love instead is the person that is chatting with you about your impending divorce. So yeah well those of you who are getting loving this year good for you but I'm just gonna carry on like it's any other day - which it really is. Here are my Sunday Reads:

A Life Complete Mind reader Edward Cullen finds it near impossible to let anyone in. Raised by a selfish mother and an emotionally absent father, Bella doesn't let herself just be. Will they lower their guards down enough to risk being hurt? I liked this it was funny but still had an interesting plot. It's only rated T for teen so no smut here folks. Have a good read!

Mr. Horrible They meet at a gallery, from two different worlds. Watch as they learn... oh, who am I kidding here? They meet. They are opposites. They attract. This fic was crazy funny - like I seriously almost spit my drink out all over my computer when I read it. Bella is sarcastic and just a tad bit crazy whereas Edward is just a little too straight laced and needs a little help to loosen up and if anyone can help it's Bella. Can't get any funnier than drag queens, CEO's, drinking mothers, tin foil hats, tuna noodle casserole, sporks and the crypt keeper for a grandmother! Read on and enjoy this one!

Only two this week because well IMO Mr. Horrible is as good as two so that's what you get. Enjoy yourself and eat some candy!

Six Word Saturday!!

Snow Doesn't Belong In The South!

Seriously I live down here for a reason people! I am a beach gal not so much a snow person. We didn't even have the gloves and boots for proper playing in said snow. I heard sirens all day long because people down here don't know how to drive in this weather. I guess I can handle one day out of my 27 odd years though! lol Zilla had fun and that's whats really important.

Snow Day in the South

Ok first off WTF blogger? I had posts 'scheduled' this week and they um didn't post so seriously now I'm looking like a slacker again. Oh well anyway guess I gotta be a blogger babysitter now.

Ok first off I'd like to say that I live in southern Alabama so the fact that we got SNOW today is pretty darn cool and secondly not only was is snow but it was snow that STUCK to the ground! Thats pretty awesome normally the stuff this far south is just flurries that melt upon impact well not today folks cause we got like 3 inches of that fluffy whiteness. Zilla had a freakout as soon as his booty saw out the window at the buttcrack of dawn and wanted to go outside but we said no cause we were being mean coffee deprived parents. We eventually took him out and had a BLAST. Now I'm not gonna lie and say it wasn't fun cause it was but being the born and raised Floridian that I am I won't complain if the stuff doesn't come back for another 20 years! My 'inner kid' had fun but it's more of a beach kid if you know what I mean!! lol Here are the pics - as you can see in the first few the snow got heavier through the day!
Photobucket
Zilla and the dog running around having fun!
Photobucket
My new hood ornament!
Photobucket
SNOW ANGELS!!! - I even did one it was fun!
Photobucket
Getting snow for our mini snow ball fight

Okay I'm gonna post some more on Monday! Laters people!

Sunday Reads Time!!

Alrighty here are my Sunday Reads for you all. I finished these a while back but I really enjoyed them and they are all finished!! They are of course rated M for mature readers only becasue well why else would I be reading them? lol Enjoy!!
Love Among The Stacks And you thought libraries were just for studying...Bella, resident cool girl librarian, meets a dazzling law student, Edward while working at the university library. Will she help him find what he needs, what he wants? This story was really cute but I really think they could have drawn it out a little longer the ending seems kind of abrupt because there was so much potential for more. I love sarcastic Bella and who wouldn't want Edward spending coupious amounts of time at your work just to see you?
Dance With Me Edward Cullen is a well known author who takes a job at Bella Swan's bar to do research for his novel. As circumstance pushes them together they fall quickly in love, but will Bella's past be too much for Edward to handle or will Edward continue to surprise her. Life is never easy, but if you're willing to step out on the floor, it is always worth the dance. This story was really cute but it did certainly have some angst thrown in there. There is a sequel but I just didn't get into it but this one is pretty good. The idea of Edward behind a bar in a tight t-shirt tending bar is pretty good!
Music Notes Edward Cullen is Forks High Schools most eligible bachelor; Bella Swan is the talented new girl. In her music, Edward finds the piece of himself that he never knew he was missing. This story was just too sweet and I really enjoyed it.

Back to Myself

First of all I'd like to say sorry for going 'dark' for like a week. I'd love to say there was a good reason and although there WAS a reason it wasn't a good one. My lip was hurting like all get out and I took the opportunity to apparently indulge in a huge pity party for one. I spent WAY to much time feeling sorry for myself and the situation that I've been thrust into. I shouldn't have done that mainly because it doesn't get me anywhere and also because pity is such a weak emotion and anyone that knows me would never and I mean never use the word weak to describe me. I'm normally a pretty strong willed person and can get through just about anything if I put my mind to it. Although I'm more than 100% sure that I will get through this transition in my life with minimal damage it's just a craptastic situation to be in and for the most part since this all "started" I've been pretty easy going and just all around 'good to go' about it. For some reason last week I just allowed myself to dwell on the fact that my life is changing in a way that I never wanted it to and it sucks even worse because I had no say so whatsoever in the changes - they were decided for me. I guess I like me some control and giving it up just isn't easy. Oh well anyway just wanted to say that my pity party is over and I'm back to "myself" - you know the one that just picks up and goes on because thats the only choice left.

Makes Me Want to Throw Up

Very recently DZ came home and told me about a fellow soldier (pains me to even call him that) here on our post that was arrested and is being charged with 36 separate counts of child pornography of himself and an 8 and 10 year (reportedly they were his own children) on multiple occasions. The police are reporting that the images are the worst the detectives working the case have ever seen in their careers. What makes me super extra pissed is that our local new station had the dudes mom on for an interview and she proceeded to say and I quote "I don't know how many thing he had to carry on his back before he broke.” and I can totally understand that she's stressed but...seriously lady? What on God's green Earth would make it ok to molest little children because you are carrying around stress? Hmm yeah I can't think of any either. I know he's her son but I have to say that at some point you have to let that fact go and actually see what your kid is doing to harm others. It's not like these are 'allegations' he was turned in by his own girlfriend when she saw the pictures on his laptop and he is in the pics um yeah pretty sure that just screams guilty and even if it was my own kid I'd be bringing up the front in the "take him to jail" parade because no kid deserves that - no matter what. This sicko should rot in Hell for what he's done and I certainly hope that once he's in jail someone or multiple someones make sure he gets whats coming to him for doing that to kids. His actions have such far reaching ramifications in those two kid's lives it's not even funny I just Pray that they both are able to get help and get past this.

Hurts Like a MoFo

Yeah okay it's been what like a week since I started this lip stuff and I have to say that it hurts like a big bad word. I was going to post a picture but well I'm lazy & in pain and don't feel like taking 15 pictures of my face to get one that works - maybe I'll try another day. Almost my entire bottom lip is one big fat blister and the part of my top lip that touches when I close my mouth is also blistered and I can't even talk about the corners without using a string of explicatives to describe how they feel. I'm pretty close to only being able to eat liquid food through a straw because it hurts to close and open my mouth let alone having any food actually touch it - shoot it hurts when air passes over it while I'm breathing. I still have another week and I am just SO excited (imagine with TONS of sarcasim here) to see how it looks and feels at that point.

Oh and cause it's just not enough to have a mouth that I don't want to take into public I am also coming down with a nice head cold - so pretty much everything above my shoulders hurts like heck right now.

Sunday Reads..Um on a Monday

Yeah Well here are my Sunday Reads. Sorry they are a little late but the hacking thing through me for a loop so anyway here they are.
Friend Boy  As if starting a new school away from her friends and family isn't enough, she has nuisance/captain of the football team Edward interested in her. “Hello, I’m Edward Cullen.” She took my hand, shaking it, “I’m not interested.” I really liked this story - it was such an interesting take on the characters. I loved the friendship that seems to constantly hover the line of friend and more. Bella is tough but yet still has normal insecurities and who wouldn't drool over football captain Edward. It's totally worth a read - lots of funny heart warming moments.

Stand in the Rain In the underworld Jasper is a man of all trades from assassinations to petty theft. He will do anything if the price is right-even transporting and protecting a young woman with a unusual ability. This is a Jasper/Alice story. I enjoyed reading it and really liked Jaspers rough personaility and seeing him relate to Alice.

Realize Edward is a hot up and coming actor and Bella is his ever faithful best friend and personal assistant. Bella's feeling for Edward have changed, but he is oblivious to her feelings. With the help of her friends, will she get the courage to tell him... This story was very cute but at the same time annoying because Edward and Bella spend a lot and I mean a lot of time figuring themselves out. I'm so not a jacob fan and don't like the whole jealous angle but this story really balances it out and doesn't make it a large part of the stoy - I apprecaited that.

Well there you go sorry they were late but this week has been rough. I'm missing my FanFic partner in crime - hopefully they have internet access upstairs so she can still enjoy all her fav stories!!

I was Hacked!

Yesterday I was hacked. I'm not sure if this should impress me that they managed to figure out my password or make me want to giggle because of what they chose to actually do when they hacked into my e-mail. The person who hacked my e-mail decided that they were going to get onto Yahoo IM and send my SIL an instant message saying that "i" was being held hostage in London I think and that I needed her to get me some money - I know dumb right? She of course was like WTF and told the person that I'd never been to London and why on earth when being held hostage I would go onto yahoo im to look for help. I agree with this I would think texting to save my life would be quicker lol. They did also manage to get into my facebook account as well (at least I think so) and do something to get my account disabled - I e-mailed them and hopefully they can fix it.

I mean really your gonna hack into my e-mail and then IM my family and mess around on facebook? Must me a bored teenager. Wish they would have left facebook alone and went after my myspace i don't ever go there. Oh well I Guess it was about time to change out passwords anyway. Life is always fun around here thats for sure.

Six Word Saturday

I have zero desire to move

I haven't even moved and I'm done with it already. Don't get me wrong I can't wait to get out of here and start new I just don't want to have to actually move to do it lol. It's so stressful and annoying and I seriously hate moving. My mom, brother and I moved around a bunch when I was little and i hated the entire process every single time. Not much can be done about it but that don't make it any more fun.

Well I've Got It

The last year and a half or so I've been dealing with what I thought (at least for a while) was a nice case of servere chapped lips. In the begining I assumed it was because I wasn't drinking enough water or maybe the weather or maybe the universe was being mean to me who knows. Anyway after a while I started to think that maybe it was something else because really who has really horrible chapped lips that flake, rip off, crack and bleed for months on end? Yeah well anyway about 5 months or so ago I went to a dermatologist (i'm pretty sure I blogged about the moles I had removed) and he kinda brushed off my lip concerns and told me to use aquafor - in case you don't know that's pretty much vasoline so thanks dickhead that was super helpful. Fastforward and my lip is still being all weird even with the awesome vasoline so I made an appt with a different chick. Went yesterday and found out I was right - dang couldn't guessed that was coming - and I have Actinic Cheilitis.
Actinic cheilitis, sometimes known as "farmer's lip" or "sailor's lip," is a precancerous condition related to cumulative lifetime sun exposure. The lower lip is most often affected. Individuals with actinic cheilitis often complain of persistent dryness and cracking of the lips. They will frequently exhibit other effects of sun-damaged skin, such as precancerous lesions on the skin called actinic keratoses and extensive wrinkling. A certain type of skin cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) develops in 6–10% of cases of actinic cheilitis.

So she gave me a script for fluorouracil which is pretty much a topical anti-cancer drug used to treat cancer and precancerous conditions. She advised me that I will HATE using it because it's pretty much going to make my lips look and feel like I ran over them with a cheese grater (she didn't use those words but she should have) for about two awesome weeks. She said I'm not going to want anything touching my lips and they will hurt after a couple days. I'm really hoping this works and my lips stop being all chapped and crap because it really is annoying. I am a little tiny bit worried because the packet that came with the cream (that would have by the way without my insurance been $207 - thats even the generic!!) said it can cause color pigmantation and my lips even look lighter today than yesterday so I'm hoping it's a fluke and I don't have white lips when this is over!!  I used the cream last night before bed and here is my lips on Day 1 - we shall see what they look like in a few days!

Where Oh Where Did You Go?

Thats the question of the day around our house. I can't seem to find Zilla's stupid Leapster and he is asking for it like every 5 minutes and he's driving me nuts. I've explained to him that HE is the one that lost it but for some reason he doesn't seem to understand that fact and instead insists that I must find it for him. I've looked all over this house and I just can't locate it. I haven't checked the cars because he shouldn't have taken it in the car but I guess tomorrow when it's light out I'll have to make sure it's not out there. Ugh why can't kids take care of their own things?

RIP Anna

RIP Anna

Wow I don't even have the words to express how saddened I was to find out that my fellow blogger and friend Anna passed away. Please Pray for her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife and a mother to four great kids. She was just one of those people that made you feel like you've known her for years even if you'd only just met. She was a fellow Twilight fan and frequent reader here at DT, S & P. I really enjoyed reading her blog and damn I'm just gonna miss her infectious personality. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason but it's certainly something like this that stumps me. I'm still just in shock and wishing that it is all some mistake. Those kids couldn't have had a better mom but I'm sure that now they have the perfect Angel to look over them forever.

Too Much Stuff

That's what I have at my house.

I've been trying to go through everything and put it one of the following categories: DZ's crap, Pack for storage, Pack for use at Nanna's house, go away, and stuff that I will need in the meantime before we more. In doing that I have come to the conclusion that we have way to much crap at my house. I have very nice sized boxes of yard sale stuff so hopefully the stupid weather will hook me up and I can have one soon. I also went through the massive amount of baby clothes that was saving for 'just in case' and since that's not in my immediate future I pulled out a ton to get rid of. I am keeping some because it's my goal to make myself a quilt out of some of the ones I liked. Zilla seriously had some crazy amounts of clothes someone under the age of 4 and more than I'd care to admit are Gymboree. I really think that Zilla's clothes are the most valuable thing we own - I'm not sure how I feel about that.

On a good note I made some good progress yesterday getting two boxes all packed up and did a crapton of sorting/cleaning in the garage. I was thinking about messing with the outdoor toys/stuff today but decided I don't feel like it. I am thinking I might take the boyzilla out somewhere to do something - we'll see he didn't take a nap so his attitude might not hold out.

Sunday Reads

Wow it's Sunday again I guess time flies when your having fun! Here are some new stories to keep you busy this week! Oh and they will ALL be complete because I've gotten where I can't stand to not know the endings -I wouldn't do that to you all!!

She's Royal The Cullens are in Hawaii on holiday, but only Alice knows the reason why they are there-she's had a premonition that Edward would finally meet his true love. But when their meeting is ruined by unforeseen circumstances, will Alice set things right again? This story was pretty cute and who doesn't love to read about a holiday getaway where you find someone who could change your life. I liked it although I wasn't 100% in love with the authors formatting but I got over it and enjoyed the story anyway.

The Shadow and the Womenizer Bella has been hurt and is hiding a secret. Edward and his vampire family have theirs of course. Can the Cullens help Bella come out of her shell and can Bella help Edward change his ways? This story was very interesting and I liked it quite a bit. Things are a little different as in the Vampires don't sparkle, they all live in California, and the Cullens aren't left alone they are quite social and make an effort to befriend Bella. It does contain some dark themes so if you only like things light and fluffy this isn't for you.

A Warm December Bella Swan heads off to college in Seattle, with her high school boyfriend, Mike Newton, in tow. Will Bella be able to resist the temptation that grows from her surprising friendship with Edward Cullen? This story cracked me up and I just love what she did with the characters. You'll enjoy it between all of the fights, drinking and smut! Enjoy

Six Word Saturday

I've got two today:

My son said 'croissant' correctly today!!

Zilla was "feeding" me some of his play food this morning and I was going over the names of each food and he actually said croissant correctly. I for one was pretty impressed because I know plenty of adults that can pronounce it properly. Just thought I'd share my kids brilliance!

OR:

Egg Beaters Don't Fill Me Up

Can I ask WHY don't a crapton of egg beaters make me feel full the same way regular eggs do? I mean seriously I could eat a whole container of egg beaters (not that I do eat that much I'm just sayin) and still feel hungry later but it's not the same with say two little old eggs. I think it's a rip off cause egg beaters are way more expensive than regular eggs and you don't even get to stay full. It's crap I tell you.
