My son is not even three and he's already got to second base!
This morning I was lounging on the couch with the boy trying to wake up when I was assaulted. Zilla was driving his Lightning McQueen around on me when he noticed the "tunnel" and wanted to drive his car "in the dark mama". I told him no but he didn't listen -big surprise there- and drove his car down my shirt and in between my boobs. That wasn't enough for him I guess because my reaction caused him to think it was super funny and he then stuck his pudgy little hand inside my bra!
Getting felt up by a toddler before 7am is not really how I like to start my days people.

Who needs sleep? Not us
I am a night person and have always been - I used to watch Letterman with my mom when i was a toddler LOL. I tend to go to bed late so understandably I enjoy sleeping in. My son, however, does not. Zilla is a morning type of kid and usually gets up before it's even light out. Last night I finally went to bed somewhere around 1am - yes I know he gets up early and yes I still stay up late don't ask - so I was expecting at least 5 hours of sleep before getting up. So I heard Zilla on the monitor and I got up to let him out of his room thinking I had gotten some sleep only to find out when I got him some milk that it was freaking 3am - yep I didn't even get 2 whole hours of sleep! One would think that at 3am everyone, including Zilla, would be sorta tired but nope not the energizer bunny of a kid I have he was running on full power. I managed to stay up until 10 before tagging DZ to take over so I could take a nap. Zilla managed to stay up until 11am before he finally fell over for a nap. I feel like the walking dead right now.

Thanks Max and Ruby
Lately Zilla has decided that he must watch Max & Ruby over and over and over and over - Thank the Lord for DVR. Normally I would shout to the Heavens for getting me away from Oswald for a while except that on one of the M&R episodes Ruby is trying to do a play or something I think and Max wants to be a monster. Well Zilla loves this one and now goes around the house going "monster roar!!!" all.the.time. It was so super duper cute the first time and then well not so much anymore.
He is repeating everything now and is picking up on all kinds of new words - he's even trying to sing some of the songs on his shows and that is pretty cute to watch. I'll have to trying and get some of it on tape for you all.

I think he's defective
I think that Zilla may be defective. I mean I tried for almost 10 minutes earlier to make his mute button work and it just didn't! I don't know if the button is just stuck, broken or he wasn't born with one. In either case he needs repairs IMMEDIATELY!!!!! He's always been loud and all that (he gets that from me so I try to go with it) but seriously this weekend he's amped up his word usage A LOT. He hasn't been quiet for one whole minute this weekend he just keeps talking and talking.
I think it was my dad who told me that we spend the first few years of their lives teaching them to walk and talk only to then spend the next 15 years or so telling them to shut up and sit down. Um yeah I think I know what he meant LOL.

Disney Trip Part 3
We rounded off our Disney Parks with what else but the Magic Kingdom! We decided to drag it into two days because there is just so much to do there that we didn't want to miss anything. Zilla really enjoyed the Swiss Family Tree house, Tom Sawyers Island and on the Tomorrowland Speedway - I think those were his favorites. We made sure to visit the Dumbo ride, and after waiting in line for like 30 minutes we were able to ride the 2 minute long ride, Zilla really liked it though. A few other notable rides for us were the Toy Story Mania, the Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, and the Magic Carpets of Aladdin. A couple things were closed while we were there so we didn't get to enjoy those and there were also several things that we just didn't do either because we decided that Zilla wouldn't enjoy them or we just weren't willing to wait in the lines for them LOL. Zilla covered his ears A LOT throughout out Magic Kingdom probably because they have music blaring from every angle but overall he seemed to really enjoy himself. He really only wore his "leash" that first day in Animal Kingdom so he was pretty free to walk unless he wanted to ride in the stroller - he REALLY liked that he could run around but he did listen for the most part so thats good. We let him spend some time playing in Pooh's Playful spot and at Donald's Boat - he liked to play in the water. We ate lunch at The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street and it was rather good and the prices weren't crazy because it was lunch. With Zilla's lunch there was included a dessert and he got the Mickelodeon (I am not sure I spelled that right but oh well) and he loved it he kept trying to put the "party hat" as he called it on his head! Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy:

Disney Trip part 2
Okay for our second day of the trip we decided to go to Hollywood Studios (I still call it MGM though lol). It was tons of fun and I really liked all the cool things they have put in there. I do have to say that the actual layout of the park SUCKS because it's not all interconnected the way the others are you have to walk back past stuff to get over to another area. Anyway we tried out the Muppet Vision 3D cause DZ wanted to do that but it didn't work out very well. Once we got seated, as far away from everyone else and near the exit doors, Zilla decided that the theater was WAY too loud and too dark - which it was - and I had to take him out while DZ finished up. It's all good though cause the two of us played Zillas fav game of "more runnin' mama" LOL. After that we waited in line to take pictures with the life sized Tow Mater and Lighting McQueen. We thought that Zilla would love this since he's all but obsessed with the movie and he probably would have been over the moon if the music they were playing wasn't blaring and the cars weren't making loud revving noises. As it is thought I'm pretty positive that Zilla have some kind of noise sensitivity issues so he plugged his ears and wasn't really happy until he could just watch them from afar. He loved it when he was far enough away and we probably went back 'just to look from a distance' about 4 times that day LOL. We also did the Toy Story Mania ride and it was fun - Zilla covered his ears the whole time - I never realized just how friggin loud the Disney music is until this trip and they have it blaring from speakers everywhere - but when we were done with the arcade style ride Zilla said it was "real fun" and it was. Other notable things were the Playhouse Disney Live show - I was worried about this cause his noise issues usually include almost all forms of singing but towards the end he actually got up and was dancing along so I guess his toddler side won out there and we all had fun but I don't recommend sitting right up at the front cause it's hard to see the stage like that. Oh if you like the Star Wars stuff I would totally recommend the gift shop there at MGM cause it's the.bomb. I didn't ride the ride for it (DZ did and wasn't impressed so I decided not to bother) but the gift shop has A TON of cool stuff I mean I'm not even a star wars fan and I found stuff I wanted to buy! I also rode the Tower of Terror and the Aerosmith Rock 'n' Roller Coaster they were both pretty fun rides. We (meaning Zilla cause DZ and I packed our lunch) ate at the Pizza Planet for lunch and their pizza and prices were pretty good. For dinner we ate at the Backlot express and considering that it's considered "counter service" by Disney aka cheap it was really good - I had the Turkey Melt thing and it was pretty awesome for under $10. I do totally recommend watching the 3pm daily Block Party Bash parade! The parade was great they really went all out with it - it's a little more interactive than the parades at Magic Kingdom. They stop the parade every block or so along the route and have a "bash" with you for a good while before moving on. they had dancers and these big things that folded out to trampolines with people doing all kinds of cool jumping moves as well as they throw balls out to the crowd - it was really a lot of fun.
That park didn't take us all day either and we were pretty much ready to leave by 3:30pm but we stuck around looking at shops and avoiding the inevitable Florida rain - they should have named it The Afternoon Rain showers are a Sure Bet Sunshine State LMAO - because Zilla fell asleep in the stroller. Anyway here are some pictures of our Day:

This was the sucker that saved us from a meltdown
DZ using the Misty Mate thing I bought - that thing was awesome!

Trip to Disney Part One
Okay so last week we took our very first family vacation to Dinsey World. We borrowed my in laws camper and stayed at the Ft Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds on Disney. That place was pretty cool - they have all kinds of stuff that could keep you busy even if you didn't go to Disney - I highly recommend it to anyone. We took the camper and got it all set up before we headed off to find Wal-Mart for food and Camping World for a lock to replace the one that was on the camper. Apparently my in-laws had previously locked the keys inside by accident and hadn't replaced it yet so we would have to do that. We used the GPS thingy on DaddyZilla's cell phone - that thing is the stupidest thing in the world - it sent us to a Walmart that was almost 10 1/2 miles away when there was one WAY closer then it kept telling us that the camping world should be in the exact location of a strip mall that contained tourist stores - BLAH. Well anyway Camping World (when we found it) was closed on Sunday for Mothers Day so we went back to the camper and planned to go the following day (yes we slept that first night and then went to a park with our camper unsecured and yes I know that wasn't smart but not much we could do about it). Well that night I left Zilla inside watching Thomas while I went out to ask DZ a question. What does my lovely little heathen do? He LOCKS THE DANG DOOR while I'm outside!!! So now all the windows and the door is locked with the 2 year old inside saying "mama help mama help" and he wasn't exactly interested in listening to my pleas to unlock the door but he did enjoy waving at us and saying "hi mama hi daddy" from the window! Well I was able to get the door unlocked even though I had to crawl through a small hole to push up a bed and unlock the window and then climb through the window to unlock the door - and boy am I paying for it now cause I pulled a muscle in my back doing that. All that and we hadn't even got into a park yet!
The first day on the bus headed to the park I asked Zilla how old he was and when he didn't answer I said "Your 2 right?" and he responded "No I 5" LOL! Also at the little bus depot at the camp grounds where you wait for your appropriate bus they had a lady with a little bean bag toss game set up. Zilla LOVED that - he called them "pillows" and wanted to play pillows anytime we went by there LOL. I'm gonna see about making him his own pillows for home - anyone have any suggestions on what best to use for the filling or for the board?
Our First Day was Animal Kingdom and we had a super duper fun time there. It was so nice and shaded which was super awesome since it felt about 200 degrees (no seriously though it was in the high 90s and Florida's normal 200% humidity really did make it feel that hot) so the shade was nice. I really enjoyed the Kilimanjaro Safari and the Expedition Everest ride even though I was the only one to ride that since it was a roller coaster. We even were able to find a nice shaded table to eat our lunch at. It didn't take long to do everything on our "list" at that park and we were pretty much rapped up by 1pm. We did have to wait about 30 minutes for our bus to take us back to the campgrounds but it wasn't too bad. The rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing (me), trying to take a nap (zilla) and getting & installing the new lock (DZ). We cooked out that night and got to bed early so that we could handle the park and the heat of the next day. I will talk about that tomorrow though cause my back is really hurting and I'm gonna go take come drugs and lay on a heating pad. Maybe I'll watch twilight again to annoy DZ LMAO. Night folks here are some pictures to enjoy!!

Goodnight
When we were traveling Zilla made a pretty big funny! Sometimes when we are home he will pull a pillow from our room and lay his head down while telling us goodnight and pretend to sleep. Well..
We had just stopped for lunch and were back in the truck on our way to Disney. He pulled a pillow over onto his lap and said "goodnight mama, goodnight daddy, goodnight daisy, goodnight chicken nuggets" LMAO He said goodnight to the chicken nuggets that were sitting on beside him!! I'm probably not giving it justice in writing but let me tell you it was so funny I almost peed my pants! He said it so naturally like he was talking to a sibling or something. It reminded me of that Little House on the Prarie thing where they always said goodnight to johnboy. LOL

Review Time
Recently I've seen some movies and read a few books so I thought I'd share them here with you!
Iron Man
After ultrarich inventor and weapons maker Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) escapes from kidnappers using makeshift power armor, he turns his invention to good by using it to fight crime. But when he must face the evil Iron Monger, his skills are stretched to the limit. Based on the Marvel comic.
I thought this was a pretty good film but it was definately not a kid movie. I'm not a huge Robert Downey Jr fan but I thought he did really well in this movie. It's certianly worth watching!
Toy Story 2
Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Woody (Tom Hanks) and the rest of the toys in Andy's playroom are back! When Andy goes off to cowboy camp, an obsessive toy collector kidnaps Woody, and it's up to Buzz and the gang to save their pal. With a story that's great for kids and adults, amazing technical work from Disney and Pixar Animation.
We got this from Netflix because we thought that Zilla would enjoy it and it's been forever since we've seen it. It was certainly funny and a great kids movie but I didn't like it near as much as I did the first Toy Story. I did however enjoy the interaction with the dog in this one and Mrs. Potatoe Head was great too. It was good and your kids will probably enjoy it.
SkinTight by Susan Andersen
In a rare moment, professional poker player Jax Gallagher committed a rookie's mistake. He threw an IOU for a valuable baseball that wasn't his to wager into the pot -- and lost. Now the man who won the collectible is demanding his prize . . . or else. The problem is, the ball is in the possession of his estranged father's widow -- a flamboyant Las Vegas showgirl. Jax intends to get it back, by any means available.
Only, Treena McCall is anything but the ruthless gold digger Jax expects. She's built a life for herself filled with good friends and hard work. And if she sometimes wonders what it would be like to share her dreams with someone, she can live with the suspense. She's got enough on her plate tyring to hang on to her job as a dancer without being wined, dined, and seduced by sexy Jax Gallagher.
In Vegas there's more than one way to lose your shirt, and both Jax and Treena know better than to bet on love. Yet sometimes rolling the dice in a high-stakes game can lead to a prize beyond compare -- if you have the courage to gamble your heart
This was a very cute book and an easy read. I liked all the characters and all the vegas cracks were pretty funny. A good summer read thats for sure!
Gods in Alabama by Joshilyn Jackson
When Arlene Fleet headed off to college in Chicago, she made three promises to God: She would never again lie, never fornicate outside marriage, and never, ever go back to her tiny hometown of Possett, Alabama. All God had to do in exchange was to make sure the body of high school quarterback Jim Beverly was never found. Ten years later, Arlene has kept her promises, but an old schoolmate has recently turned up asking questions. And now Arlene's African American beau has given her a tough ultimatum: introduce him to her family, or he's gone. As she prepares to confront guilt, discrimination, and a decade of deception, Arlene is about to discover just how far she will go to find redemption and love.
I really thought this book was interesting and made you really think. It technically falls into the chick lit catagory but I think that it's very skillfully written and I liked all of the characters. It was certainly a good read.

At the Park With DaddyZilla
I decided that before we left for Disney I should really clean the house because I’d pretty much been neglecting it for a while. I didn’t really think that it would be a good thing to leave it all not nice for our return because as much as I didn’t want to clean now I was 100% sure I really wouldn’t want to clean after a week at Disney. I also realized that cleaning with a toddler around is kinda like putting out new patio furniture when you have a Hurricane heading to you. So I convinced DZ that he should take Zilla to the park today so that I could clean in peace. It was SO nice having no one going behind me and destroying things. It was also nice not to be pushed around while trying to do something. See Zilla likes to get behind me, put his hands on my tush and say “pushin’ mama” – he thinks it’s really funny. Anyway now my house is cleanish and I can actually pack knowing that it will still be clean when we get back – for at least a few minutes anyway! Here are some pics that DZ took at the park.

I Need a Hobby or Something
Today we were watching Blue’s Clues again for the 400th time – I swear Zilla can’t just watch one thing he has to obsessively watch things- and I started to wonder. This doesn’t sound bad except that I did so out loud where DZ could here me. I was wondering if Steve (my fav) or Joe ever just wanted to shake Blue and say “ENOUGH with the dumb game just tell me what you want” or if Steve got mad when he left the show when his “friends” only started writing Joe. DZ was a little worried about me and felt my head to see if I had a fever LOL. I told him it’s not my fault that being home ALL DAY with a 2 ½ year old drove you mad. I mean what else is there for me to think about during the day without much adult interaction.
Do any of you ever ‘wonder’ about the kids shows? Or am I all alone? LMAO

My Big Boy
I took Zilla for a haircut this past week mainly because we were going on a trip and also because his hair was starting to look like a throw back to the 60’s. Anyway I decided after much deliberation (and questioning everyone I knew with a kid about where they went) to take him on post and have the ladies at the PX (Post Exchange) Barber Shop to cut it. I was really crossing my fingers because at our old base I NEVER would have considered taking him there because they just didn’t know how to not do a military cut and I wanted my baby to still look like a baby plus the ladies there weren’t very nice or patient – both of those is needed to do just about anything with Zilla let alone a hair cut. Anyway I took him in when it was empty except for one other man and I immediately told him sorry for the screaming that was bound to happen. I should have known that it would actually stay empty but oh well she had already started by then. The lady was super duper nice and the Military guys –I could have hugged them- they were nice and didn’t make and snide remarks or faces or anything. I can’t really say the same for stupid civilians. One guy –the guy I warned and apologized to- proceeded to start calling Zilla “a baby” and say “oh look who’s crying like a baby” and a lady mouthed her opinion like I wasn’t even sitting there saying “that’s why I cut my own son’s hair at that age I wouldn’t have done this to other people” – You all should be VERY proud of me as I didn’t maim any of them. Now of course this was mainly because I was on post and it could have caused my husband some grief at work but whatever I just kept my trap shut. Zilla actually did REALLY well for him – at home if I even look like I’m trying to trim his hair he has a hissy fit. At the barber shop he only started really getting cranky when she broke out the clippers. Anyway here is my “baby” now – he looks SOOOO much older. It’s a little shorter than I was thinking it would be but it looks good on him and since his hair grows like mine it will grow out in no time
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY
Happy Mothers Day to my fellow moms!! Hope your having a great weekend filled with even a fraction of the love and attention that we spill out each day! Hugs!!

Are We There Yet?
Our lovely Catahoula (yes that’s a dog breed in case you were wondering) Daisy is not as enthused about our trip to Disney as the rest of us. I’m not really sure why. Well I do have a few guesses. It could be that she’s not actually going as we are indeed kicking her butt out at the In-Laws for the week OR it could be the ears. What do you think?
Isn’t that just pitiful?

We're going away
On vacation that is. Tomorrow we are leaving to go down to Florida to go on our very first family vacation. We are going to be taking advantage of an awesome deal that Disney is offering to Military Service Members.
I am SO FREAKING EXCITED!!!! I just know that Zilla is going to have the best time. Anyway I'm planning to try and use the Blogger In-Draft feature to blog. Hopefully there it will work but if it doesn't and it posts a whole bunch of blogs on the same day well sorry. I am not sure about our Internet access so the pictures and trip fun might have to wait until next week. Ok people I seriously need to get packing ttyl!

New Friends
Have you entered my 300th post giveaway? If not go do it!
I took Zilla over to a friends house yesterday for some playtime (for him and mommy LOL) and he had a great time! Him and her two little boys ran around like little nuts and had so much fun. Zilla got to do his beloved 'runnin' and her little boy had fun chasing him down as a dinosuar -complete with roars! Then towards the end for no apparent reason MY son hugged her little boy!! I know that sounds like a normally excepted thing for a toddler to do but well Zilla is not normal LOL. Anytime any other child has ever hugged him he stands there with a horrified expression that screams "OMG Please get off me" with his hands at his side. Well yesterday he actually hugged the little boy back - it was so cute I could have cried but I didn't mainly becuase they followed that up with pushing each other down - boys blah!

Something Wrong with Blogger?
Hmm I'm wondering if anyone is having problems with the 'follower' feature? There were several people on the comments for the giveaway post that said they were followers but they aren't there - don't know if that's because they commented and maybe forgot to follow or that blogger is being cruel. I'm gonna blame it on blogger I think. SO if you wanted to follow and it's not over there try again and maybe it will be nice this time. k?
Oh yeah if you haven't entered my surprise giveaway...what on earth are you waiting for?!?!?! Oh yeah Follow me (it does need to show up so be persistent folks) and you'll get an extra vote!!!
