DaddyZilla was at work last week and I looked over to find Zilla trying to be just like his daddy! I think they are a little bit big but he did a decent job at walking in them anyway!

Waiting on "Change"

Today is sadly the day where I have to except that we are soon to face "change" - now I'm not really sure what kind of change we are in for because no one ever really knew what change meant but oh well we are in for it now anyway. I will also be looking forward to 2012.

I have to say that I'm totally disappointed in "my" party - and NO I'm not talking about the republicans because I'm a registered Democrat. I'm truly disappointed that Barack Obama was as good as our Party could come up with so much so that I'm going to be changing my party affiliation as soon as I can print out the form and mail it in. I will however stand behind our soon to be President - mainly because I'm an American and I have no inclination to live in another Country so for the next 4 years I will continue to be an American and deal with the "change" until I can vote his happy butt out!

Don't forget that today is a very important day in our Country - the day to VOTE!! It's your right and your responsibility (IMO) as a US Citizen to assist the rest of us in picking our President.

I personally already voted (via absentee ballot) so don't forget to do your part today! Who knows you may be the difference between a win or a lose!

It Felt like an ice pik

I just wanted to alert those of you considering an IUD what it would feel like.

I decided to get a Mirena IUD because I had heard so many good things about them and I wouldn't have to remember to go in every 3 months for my shot (Depo Provera - totally LOVED it). After 3 pregnancy tests and many hoops to jump through -thanks tricare- I had my appt today to get it put in. I had been told that it would just be mildly uncomfortable by tons of people. Well HAHA yeah right. The doc told me that I would feel a "slight pinch" um yeah lady a slight pinch does NOT feel like an ice pik was stuck up my stuff! That wasn't even the actual IUD that was just the "clamp" used to hold my cervix in place - yes it was as painful as it sounds - the IUD was after the "slight pinch" and was not quite as bad but still not what i think of as slightly uncomfortable. I am now having horrible back pain and some cramping. Hopefully some motrin and a heating pad will help me out. So anyway just in case you were wondering - an IUD procedure feels like an ice pick and the people at WACH don't really grasp what "slight" means AT ALL.

Oh yeah and Zilla didn't get a nap due to my appt time so i get to suffer all the way around tonight! YAY

update: certainly feel better today than yesterday - that was just rough

Movie Review

I don't do a weekly view like Bri -mainly because I don't get to see many new movies- but anyway I bought the Disney Movie 'Tinkerbell' and DaddyZilla and I watched it tonight. So I thought I'd tell you all what I thought about it.

It was pretty cute - it had quite a few funny parts in it. It was certainly a Disney movie but we thought it was very good. In fact we watched it because DaddyZilla found out I bought it this week and insisted that we watch it tonight..lol. Apparently he's a closet Disney Movie watcher! It was very nice to have a good fun evening with him. I totally think your kiddos will like it but I think you all will too.

DaddyZilla loves me cause...

I bought him a super cool new Harley Davidson motorcycle tonight. He found a great deal on a Nightster on ebay and was interested in bidding on it but that stuff usually goes up really quick at the end. So....

Being the AWESOME wife I am I told him I could snipe it for him. What is snipe you ask? It's a super duper cool way to bid at literally the last second and WIN. So I put in our max bid and set the trap to spring at 7 seconds. Well we WON!!! It's a good thing we sniped it cause the bid did indeed go up by over a thousand bucks within the last 60 seconds. DaddyZilla could have cried he was so happy - well maybe not cry but he was very happy! We're getting it this weekend.

We needed Urgent Care

Today I took Zilla to our Urgent One clinic because his poor little booty was killing him. He was on antibiotics semi-recently and it did a number on him. He become 'backed up' and then got a diaper rash from hell that has been just getting worse since then. Well it had finally gone on long enough and I decided that he needed to be seen and get something for his butt. It had become so raw and painful that he would start screaming when he even saw a diaper or the tub - talk about making your heart melt like butter. I just couldn't see my baby in pain anymore.

The doc said he has a yeast rash and gave us some cream and a anti-fungal powder to put on it. He is also to be left diaperless as much as possible. So maybe this will help him potty train too! lol Don't worry people I'm not holding my breathe on that one but it would be nice. He did really well at the clinic and only mildly gave death looks to the doctors and nurses - he started saying "bye" (very adamantly I might add) as soon as we walked into the back room..lol. He does hate him some doctors & nurses - haha.

Halloween Fun!

I took Zilla (DaddyZilla had to work - yuck) trick or treating with a whole bunch of friends and he had a good time! He was a Sheriff/Cowboy and boy did he look the part walking in those boots. Let's just say he looked like he just got off a bull...LOL. He has been having some booty issues (I'll get to that shortly) so that made it a little less fun than it could have been but he still had a great time. Our friends -all million of them- also had a great time and all the kids totally raked in the loot. Zilla actually walked the whole time in the boots - I thought for sure he'd want to take them off but nope he did really well and didn't even have one blister today! In the beginning he was a little bit not cool with the person actually coming to the door and giving out candy but he warmed up, for the last four houses, and got the hang of it. There were about 20 of us, including Zilla and I, that were making the rounds and I have to say that really made it much more fun! We had a cowboy, Indiana Jones, A Lego Mindstorm (totally cool), a genie, Darth Vader, Dale Earnhardt Jr, monster bride, Incredible character, Tinkerbell, and Thing 1 & Thing 2 - we were certainly a site to see HAHA. I've been Violated

Yes thats right people we have been violated at the Zilla household! Today while I was gone to an appt DaddyZilla and Zilla were home just hanging out. Well there was a knock at the door and it turned out to be a lady from down the street. She was here to return our McCain/Palin sign that she found down the street with hers!!! Yeah thats right some jerk came into OUR yard and took something that WE paid for and proceeded to wad it up in a ball and throw it down!!! They did this in broad daylight and while we (well DZ) was home! Someone has some seriously large balls. I should put daisy on them HAHA.

Her sign had previously been messed with so now we know that we definatley have a jerk in our hood that obviously has no respect for other people's property. I don't give a rats behind who your voting for but you should have respect for other people's property! So we will now be on sign lookout and if I catch you in my yard I will dang sure call the police and press charges over my $5 sign! Also if you think your guy is so stinkin great then why are you being all insecure and taking my sign - what do you have to worry about? Yeah thats what I thought

All by himself

Tonight Zilla picked up a diaper off the livingroom floor and took it in the diningroom and threw it away! ALL BY HIMSELF!!!! Without even being asked. I am just so darn proud of him - now if he would just go in the potty we'd have a party.

Halloween Party CRAZINESS!!

Our remaining Cool Moms had the Halloween party tonight and well it was a BLAST!!!! It turned out so great and I'm glad that it happened the way it did. The kids were running around all dressed up and being well just kids. We had an incredibles character, iron Man, tinkerbell, a ballerina, a cheer leader, a monster bride, a skeleton, Kermit the frog, a little clown, a cate and my very own cowboy! Some of the adults dressed up to so we had Miss Piggy, Ellie Mae from the Beverly Hillbillies and the Lab chick (i can not remember her name to save my life -sorry) from NCIS. Miss Piggy and Zilla won the costume Contests!!!!! All of the kids looked awesome though it was hard to pick a winner but Miss Piggy won hands down! We also did a pie eating contest and guess what? I WON!!!!! I whooped some serious butt...LOL. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure! Feel free to comment on how cute Zilla is!!!



**Katie asked where we got the chaps - Well Katie a True friend of mine made them! He also has a vest that she made to wear on halloween. She's just super creative and could beat Martha Stewart down if she wanted to - thats why I'm going to kidnap her and force her to move to alabama with me! LOL j/k kinda haha

4. I have weird dreams about myself - like I get cancer or in car accidents - that kind of thing. Don't know why but I've always had them.

7. The cologne Drakkar smells like pure sex to me - it's SOOOO yummy on a guy.

Why oh why?

The girl that pulled out in front of DaddyZilla and caused the accident and all this mess went to court yesterday. She apparently thought it best to plead Not Guilty. All to avoid a fine and a couple points on her license. It's very aggravating because we are moving to Alabama in December and might now have to come back here for the court date. Blah

See people this is why I'm not a glass half-full type of person - there is plenty of reason for me to be the opposite. In fact I may install cameras cause it seems like someone may be dumping my water out all together! HA

Friends..Or not

It's pretty hard when you lose a friend but it's even harder when you find out that those people who you thought were your friends were really just lying users who make themselves feel better by belittling and ignoring others. It takes me some time to really get to know people and I try to select my friends carefully so that I know I can be myself around them. Well apparently there are some AWESOME actors here in Savannah, GA. These people can act like really good friends only to show their true colors later on.

It's a sad thing for me because I really thought they were my friends but I guess I was wrong.

This was taken a couple days after DaddyZilla left for Iraq. I had put pictures of us that we took the day he left in a frame and Zilla was taking a close look at them. He eventually loved on the frame so much that it broke and I just taped the pictures to the fridge!

On my playgroups website we have been having a healthy, non threatening debate of sorts about politics - what else? Well yesterday one of our "members" - I say it that way because she never came to playdates - decided to try and take it down a different road. She instead of trying to explain why her candidate was the better choice decided instead to completely attack and insult the other candidate along with his whole Party and the members of our board who are voting that way. She went so far as to call "us" evil! Um yeah ok crazy.

Just a thought for those of you who would like to pull someone over to "your side" - DON'T try to badger the people! Telling me how much the candidate I like sucks won't help your case, or your candidate, very much at all. It's a much wiser idea to instead calmly and nicely tell them why you think your guy will do a better job. Just a thought but trust me when I say her ranting (which didn't make any sense at all anyway which we would have proved had she not high tailed it first) only made me want to dig in my religion clinging, gun toting heels! LMAO

Birthday Party Fun

Zilla went to a friends Birthday Party this morning and had tons of fun! They live out in the middle of nowhere and we got a little turned around from the directions but we eventually made it there. They had rented a bounce house and Zilla, along with all the kids, LOVED it! In fact I had to lure him out with his baby when it was time to leave! So thanks for inviting us - We had a great time!

Why not me?

Can someone explain to me why exactly my darling son will follow any directions Dora the Explorer gives but will ignore even the simplest thing I ask him to do? Does Dora send out some kind of trance inducing wave through the tv? If Dora says jump well Zilla will Jump! I just don't get it.
